About Me

Hi! I’m Ella Garcia, a 16-year-old junior in high school with a big personality and an even bigger passion for law. For as long as I can remember, people have told me my talkative, outgoing, and yes — sometimes argumentative — nature would make me a great lawyer. As I’ve grown older, that casual comment turned into a real ambition.

But here’s the thing: despite my interest, I realized I actually knew very little about the legal world. My school never really covered it, and I had no clear picture of what careers in law looked like or how to get started. That’s when I decided to change things — not just for me, but for other teens like me.

I launched Legal Cheat Sheet to make legal knowledge accessible, relatable, and empowering for young adults and students like myself.

Our Mission

Legal Cheat Sheet is a student-led project that breaks down legal concepts, rights, and career paths into short, clear, and practical guides you can actually use in everyday life. We believe knowing your rights is more than just avoiding trouble — it’s about building the confidence to speak up, make informed choices, and take control of your future.
